A surge in business activities and increased number of projects has seen the Gemco Rail team expand significantly in the last 6-12 months. So, when Gemco Rail required additional training to ensure safety and legislative compliance, CERT Training put a great deal of consideration into developing a training package to meet Gemco Rail’s training requirements.

CERT Training worked closely with the Gemco Rail Forrestfield team in conducting a training needs analysis resulting in the delivery of a custom-designed training package for Practical Shunting, Shunt Tractor, and Ground Support Processes for both new and recertifying staff.

Both CERT Training and Gemco Rail form part of the Engenco Group. The Engenco Group is an ASX listed group of diverse industrial businesses built on solid engineering capabilities servicing businesses within the resources, rail, transport, defence, maritime, and power generation industries.

All CERT Trainers hold the relevant and current Certificate IV Training and Assessing qualifications as well as a minimum of ten year’s experience as well as recent and ongoing experience in the delivery of rail infrastructure, rail operations and/or rail safeworking training and assessment.
